TALENTS
A MAGIK’S POWERS ARE LINKED TO ONE OF THE FOUR ELEMENTS:
AIR, FIRE/ENERGY, WATER, AND EARTH.
AIR, FIRE/ENERGY, WATER, AND EARTH.
Magic:
Magic allows Magiks to manipulate the world around them in supernatural ways. White Magic can be practiced without repercussions but calling upon Black Magic has dire consequences. Black Magic alters its users, eventually twisting their minds and transforming them into power hungry egomaniacs with paranoid delusions. Black users have perpetrated some of the worst offenses against all living things while crusading to take over the world. Amongst the Magiks, Black Magic is seen as the root of all evil, while White Magic is exalted as the protector of all that is good.
Talents:
A Magik’s powers are referred to as their Talent. There are four different classifications of Talents with each type being linked to one of the first four elements: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. A Magik’s Talent can include multiple skills, but they will all be from the same elemental classifications. For example, if you are an Air Talent, you cannot be a Fire, Water, or Earth Talent as the classes are mutually exclusive, but you could posses both Levitation and Telekinesis skills as these both belong to the Air Talent classification. However, it is not possible to posses Levitation and Shape-shifting skills as the former is an Air Talent and the latter is an Earth Talent.
There is one exception, the Divine Talent, that allows a Magik to possess the first four elemental Talents combined. Magiks possessing the Divine Talent are referred to as Divinities. The name reflects the power of this Talent as Divinities easily reach the Elite level for the full spectrum of skills encompassed by the Air, Fire, Water, and Earth Talents. The Divinity Talent is linked to the fifth element, Pure Energy, which is often referred to as the Divine element. Unlike the first four elemental classes which include virtually all Magiks, the Divinity class is so rare that there has never been two Divinities living at the same time. In fact, only a handful of Divinities have ever been known to exist.

White Magic Levels
Coming of Age :
In the years prior to a Magik reaching the age of eighteen, their powers typically begin to manifest themselves in sporadic and uncontrolled episodes. On the occasion of their eighteenth birthday, a Magik’s powers become firmly established and are no longer volatile. The amount of precision that a Magik has over their abilities in conjunction with the maximum strength of their Talent that they can exhibit determines their level of mastery as described below.
Rogue :
No magical power developed. Rogues are rare and cannot demonstrate their Talent at will, even at the most rudimentary levels. Many Rogues dedicate themselves to the practice of the science of Alchemy as they can typically develop formidable Alchemy skills over time whereas it is very unlikely they will ever increase in mastery of their talent.
Sage :
Low Level Magik. Sages can call upon their talent at will but they are limited in both accuracy and power. They typically can only use their talent for short periods of time and the outcome is often not exactly as desired.
Scarlet :
Mid Level Magik. Scarlets have achieved precision control over their Sage level skills and broadened their abilities with new and more difficult Scarlet skills.
Master :
High Level Magik. Masters have developed significantly greater magical endurance. This enables them to call on their skills for extended amounts of time as well as allowing them to explore additional and more powerful skills than those of a Scarlet.
Elite :
Ultimate Magik. Elites are very rare. They can demonstrate the full range of skills for their elemental classification and they can maintain them almost indefinitely.

Black Magic Level
Before Ayanna rose to power, Black Magic was forbidden in Lameere. Any chance that another Magik might endanger the world the way Odin Blackmore did had to be crushed. Therefore, little is known about Black Magic Levels.
